Privacy policy

This policy explains what we collect on the website and app, what we use it for, who sees it and how to delete it. We follow Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020.

What we collect

Orders: name, mobile number, governorate, city, address, your notes, and email if you enter it (optional).
Map location: if you tap "Locate me" at checkout we save a map link to your location so the courier can find you. It is optional and we never track your location at any other time.
Account: name, mobile number, email (optional) and password. Passwords are stored hashed; nobody can read them, including us.
Chat: the messages, photos and files you send, such as a photo of a school supply list.
Printing: the files you upload for printing and your choices (copies, colour).
Used market: your listing's photos, description and price. If you choose to show your WhatsApp number, only signed-in customers can see it.
Reviews: your rating and comment, shown publicly with your first name.
Book bookings: grade and term, and the number or account to refund your deposit to if you cancel.
Payments: if you pay by mobile wallet or InstaPay we keep the transfer screenshot you send. We never ask for or store card details.
Notifications: if you turn them on, we store your device's push address to send order updates and replies. You can turn them off at any time in "My account" or your phone settings. Your order updates and the store's offers also appear on the site's "Notifications" page, even with notifications off.
Saved items: the products you save with the heart. If you're not signed in they're kept on your device only, and move to your account when you sign in.
Hidden sellers: if you choose "Hide this seller's listings" in the used market, we keep that choice for your account only; the seller isn't told.
Technical data: a one-way fingerprint of your IP address, used only to block spam and repeated attempts. We do not store the IP address itself.

Phone permissions

Camera: only when you choose to photograph a school list or a listing.
Location (GPS): only when you tap "Locate me" at checkout.
Notifications: only if you allow them.

You can refuse any permission and the site keeps working.

How we use your data

To prepare and deliver your order and contact you about it.
To answer you in the chat and handle print requests and book bookings.
To review used-market listings and reviews.
To protect the site from fraud and spam.

We never sell your data and never use it for advertising.

Who sees your data

Store staff: each staff member only sees the sections the owner allows.
The courier: name, mobile number and address, to deliver the order.
Technical providers that run the site: hosting, database and file storage, Google Drive if the store turns it on for print files, and Google's and Apple's notification services. They store data on our behalf only.
Authorities: when required by law.

Cookies and storage on your device

A sign-in cookie keeps you signed in.
Your language and dark-mode choice.
Your cart is saved on your device until you order, and so are your saved items if you're not signed in.
The products you opened lately (for «Recently viewed» on the home page), kept on your device only.

We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Visit statistics, if any, use no cookies and no personal data.

How long we keep data

Print files: deleted after printing, and at most 48 hours after upload.
Chat: photos and files are deleted automatically after 48 hours, and the messages themselves after a few days (30 days at most, as set by the store).
Transfer screenshots: kept until the store deletes them after checking the payment. The result (confirmed or rejected) stays with the order.
Notifications on the "Notifications" page: 90 days.
Market listings and photos: deleted 30 days after the listing ends.
Orders and invoices: kept as long as the store needs them for its accounts and the law.
Your account: until you delete it.

Your rights

See and edit your data in "My account".
Delete your account at any time in "My account" → "Delete account", or on the delete account page. This deletes the account, chat, market listings, reviews, points, saved items and notifications. Past orders stay with the store for its records, no longer linked to your account; contact us to ask for them to be erased.

Children

The site is meant for parents and adults. If you are under 18, create an account and order with a parent's permission. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

Changes

If we change this policy we update the date above, and we tell you on the site about important changes.
